Dossier Lead Quantitative Analyses The organizational unit Analyses Operative Banking focuses on facilitating and securing the functioning of cashless payment systems. To support the strategic orientation of the SNB, the OE accompanies developments in cashless payments and develops decision-making bases. To this end, conceptual and empirical work is carried out. In the area of empirical work, large data collections are managed and analyzed using advanced statistical methodology. Your tasks Coordination of the cross-sectional dossier "Quantitative Analyses"; Design of performance targets and the planning process within the dossier and the OE; Alignment of the dossier with the development of evidence-based decision-making bases for cashless payments and financial market infrastructure; Project management and consulting of management on topics in cashless payments and financial market infrastructures; Further development of advanced empirical methods as well as high-dimensional datasets; Application of the current state of research to concrete problems; Co-shaping the Data-Science strategy of the SNB and of Operative Banking. Your profile Leadership experience, e.g., in the context of team or project management; High affinity for lateral leadership methods and strong organizational skills; 7-10 years of relevant professional experience relating to economic, political, and financial decision-making problems; In-depth knowledge of econometrics, statistics, and Data Science, as well as very good programming skills and familiarity with professional Data-Science environments; Scientific way of working (e.g., publications, doctorate); Strong cooperation and teamwork skills; confident oral and written communication in German or French as well as English.
