For the tree care group of the North region in the Park and Green Spaces division, Oerlikon area, we are looking for a Specialist Tree Protection. Tasks ## • You accompany, define and monitor protection measures for trees and green spaces within the area of responsibility of Grün Stadt Zürich during construction projects or renovations • You support the districts in the assigned region as well as the tree care teams in the respective region regarding questions related to tree protection • You actively participate in subject-specific working and specialist groups regarding the topic of trees and convey knowledge to internal and external service providers • You participate in construction meetings and represent the interests of GSZ, especially regarding the topic of trees • You are the contact person for internal and external entrepreneurs regarding tree protection Profile ## • Completed training as a Gardener EFZ, Forester EFZ, as well as further training as a Tree Inspector FFL/Tree Care Practitioner/Tree Care Specialist or comparable training, or the willingness to undergo further training in this area • Several years of professional experience in tree care/tree inspection, in horticultural maintenance, as well as sound knowledge of woody plants and plants, especially tree species • Independence, sense of responsibility, assertiveness, reliability, and service orientation • Solution-oriented personality with good negotiation skills • Category B driver's license, MS Office skills, aerial work platform operator's license an advantage We offer ## As a service department of the City of Zürich, we offer progressive employment conditions with excellent social benefits and very good framework conditions for the compatibility of professional and private life.   Your gross annual salary is between 84'600.00 and 98'800.00 Franken (100% workload).
