Specialist Prevention

The Verein für Prävention Oberland (VPZO) is responsible for the promotion and coordination of addiction and violence prevention facilities in the districts of Hinwil, Pfäffikon and Uster. Since 1995, the VPZO has been running the regional addiction prevention center Oberland, which offers the 31 member municipalities a wide range of services and offerings for effective and sustainable addiction prevention and health promotion. The Suchtprävention Oberland is looking for, by or after agreement, a: Specialist Prevention (80%) Specialist Prevention (80%) Your tasks are essentially: (Co-)responsible for offerings mainly in the department "Volks- und Mittelschulen" Advising and training of organizations, (specialist) institutions, authorities, parents and key persons in schools, municipalities and cities Professional guidance and training of multipliers Early detection and development in the Volksschule Project support in the Volksschule Development of prevention offerings for schools, municipalities, institutions and companies and support during implementation (including Mindmatters, Flott [Flo#], Smartcoach) Coordination of the Schulnetz 21 - cantonal network of health-promoting and sustainable schools in the Oberland Planning and implementation of one afternoon per week in the LIFT program (module courses) Educational delegate Volksschule for the Oberland within the association of addiction prevention centers in the Canton of Zurich (Co-)responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of training offerings on Motivational Brief Intervention (MOVE) for consuming adolescents Responsible contact person for around 5 municipalities in the Oberland Consulting and information dissemination via Infoline (entire team) Thematic responsibility: Digital media Cooperation with actors active throughout the canton in the education, health and social sectors (including networking and working groups of the addiction prevention centers in the Canton of Zurich) Your profile Education in the pedagogical, educational science, sociological, social or psychological field or in health promotion and prevention (FH or university) Several years of professional experience in the areas of school and prevention and health promotion Further education in prevention, health promotion, lesson design, project management, adult education, organizational consulting / coaching, concept work and MOVE (trainer) familiar with the structures in schools and municipalities. Knowledge of the health, education and social systems in the Canton of Zurich good communicative skills in dealing with various stakeholders (including responsible persons in schools and municipalities) competent appearance in public, moderation skills independence, resilience as well as enjoyment of cooperation in a team and with third parties willingness for flexible working hours A first insight into the work of our prevention specialists and our premises at Suchtprävention Oberland is given by the YouTube video ("Was macht ein Gesundheitsförderer? - Suchtprävention").
