At the Staatsanwaltschaft für besondere Aufgaben in Bern, one internship position is to be assigned at various start dates. Each internship lasts 6 months with an employment degree of 80-100%. Your tasks <br /> • Drafting orders to institute proceedings and orders of non-prosecution as well as penal orders • Preparing and documenting interrogations • Preparing indictments and closing arguments • Preparing motions to the cantonal court for coercive measures • Drafting statements in appeal, complaint, and detention proceedings • Correspondence with parties and third parties • Analyzing reports and evidence, including carrying out legal clarifications and working out proposals for further action <br /> Your profile A prerequisite for a legal internship is the successful completion of a master's degree in law. You are interested in criminal law and criminal procedural law, possess quick comprehension skills, and are characterized by a structured and efficient way of working. Furthermore, you are resilient and flexible. Due to your communicative and open nature, it is easy for you to integrate into a team. Your native language is German with confident expression. We offer you As an intern at the Kantonalen Staatsanwaltschaft für besondere Aufgaben, you will process, in close cooperation with the prosecutors, cases that, due to their peculiarities, are not suitable for investigation by the locally responsible regional Staatsanwaltschaft and do not fall within the jurisdiction of the Staatsanwaltschaft für Wirtschaftsdelikte. These involve, in particular, proceedings in the areas of organized crime, qualified drug trafficking, human trafficking, and promotion of prostitution, as well as proceedings against members of authorities. During the internship, you will receive, among other things, insight into ongoing proceedings with secret surveillance measures as well as the opportunity to participate in a house search.
