With 40 employees distributed between Switzerland and our subsidiary in Romania, we support demanding international clients such as Nestlé, Merck, UCB in the industrial, food, and pharmaceutical sectors. In Yverdon-les-Bains, you will join a close-knit team of project managers, working in direct collaboration with the design office, the manufacturing workshop, and management. Our metal construction projects cover: Metal structures and frameworks Technical platforms, walkways, stairs, and guardrails Mécanosoudé equipment and industrial installations Silos, piping, and production lines Projects for regulated environments (pharma, food industry) Your role You will pilot your metal construction projects from A to Z: from the analysis of client demand to final acceptance on site. You are the orchestrator between the client, the design office, the workshop, and the assembly teams, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality, and safety. Your main responsibilities Sales & Estimating Analysis of specifications and client plans Technical visits before offering and on-site measurement surveys Complete cost calculation (material, manufacturing, assembly) Writing offers and presenting technical variants Commercial negotiation and client follow-up Technical Management & Design Office 3D modeling and supervision of assembly, detail, and manufacturing plans Sizing of base plates and anchors Verification of bolted and welded assemblies Validation of bills of materials and cutting lists Control of material quantities and resolution of technical problems Purchasing & Procurement Consulting suppliers (steel, stainless steel, galvanization, painting) Comparison of offers, negotiation of prices and deadlines Placing orders in Bexio and following up on confirmations Control of delivery deadlines and management of site supplies Production & Site Launching manufacturing and organizing workshop priorities Preparation of site interventions (equipment lists, lifting means, aerial platforms) Coordination of assembly teams and management of unforeseen events Site meetings and progress monitoring Quality control on site and management of non-conformities Safety & Documentation Development of safety concepts and site risk analyses Preparation of client documents (regulated industries) Preparation of quality dossiers and as-built documentation Collection of EN 10204 material certificates Financial Management Budget monitoring and analysis of schedule/budget deviations Margin control and preparation of invoicing Profitability analysis and feedback/lessons learned Profile sought Technical training in metal construction, boilermaking, mechanical engineering, or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in metal construction/industrial structures project management Proficiency in 3D modeling (Inventor, SolidWorks, or equivalent) Solid understanding of metal assemblies and manufacturing constraints Experience in project estimating and supplier negotiation Knowledge of site safety standards (industrial environments is a plus) Fluent French mandatory; technical English and/or German appreciated Personal qualities Natural leadership and sense of responsibility Technical rigor and ability to manage several projects simultaneously Excellent client relations and negotiation skills Autonomy and reactivity to unforeseen events Taste for the field (workshop + site) What we offer you Salary starting from CHF 6'000 gross/month, adapted to your experience 13th month salary paid monthly Permanent contract (CDI) Company vehicle for client/site travel Flexible hours: 8:00-8:30 / 17:00 (Friday 16:00) Minimum 20 days of vacation/year + 9 paid public holidays Stimulating technical environment with leading industrial clients Stability and evolution perspectives jpid6494266jm jpit0627jm jpiy26jm
