Agogic Staff Member in the Recycling Area

We are an innovative nonprofit company at the intersection of social integration offers and services for the public. On behalf of the Directorate of Health, Social Affairs and Integration (GSI) of the Canton of Bern, we are responsible for the strategic planning and the provision of measures for the social and professional integration of long-term unemployed persons. In the recycling area at the Burgdorf location, 50-60 program participants are deployed and guided for various tasks according to their abilities. The participants disassemble around 1'200 tons of household appliances and electronic devices annually. We are looking for, as of 1 October or by arrangement in Burgdorf, a Agogic Staff Member in the Recycling Area ## Your tasks are • Agogic support, guidance and promotion of our program participants • Collaboration in the operational day-to-day business of the recycling operation • Ensuring quality in the disassembly and recycling work • Collaboration in warehouse, logistics as well as goods receipt and goods dispatch • Operation of work equipment and machines in compliance with safety regulations • Shared responsibility for order, cleanliness and a safe workplace Your profile You have a completed manual or technical basic vocational training. Applicants from other professions are also welcome. You like to roll up your sleeves, have great manual dexterity and a good technical understanding. Your independent, reliable as well as solution-oriented way of working distinguishes you. An appreciative handling of people of various origins, especially with a migration background, is important to you and you are interested in work integration. You are a team player, possess high social competence and communication in German (spoken and written) is no trouble for you. Experience in the recycling sector and possession of a forklift license are an advantage, but not a requirement.
