At Inselspital, the University Clinic for Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine operates the Central Recovery Room with 26 beds in 24-hour operation, the Pediatric Recovery Room with 5 beds, as well as the recovery room of the Women's Clinic with 12 beds, which are operated from Monday to Friday during the day. In our highly acute and complex care area, your assignment depends on your training and takes place primarily in the pediatric or adult recovery room. In the case of a pediatric focus, it is expected that you also rotate regularly in the adult recovery room.
