Specialist IV Pension (80 - 100 %) The SVA BL is the competence center for social insurances in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. As an independent public-law company, it fulfills a legal mandate and makes a contribution to social security for the population and the economy of the canton. For the IV Benefits department, we are looking for a Specialist IV Pension (80 - 100 %) What you will do You will examine pension applications, compile the medical, legal, and economic decision-making bases, and initiate the necessary investigations. You will clarify open questions in interdisciplinary exchange with the involved internal specialist teams and develop a well-founded overall assessment. You will determine the IV degree and justify it in a comprehensible manner. You will examine the claim for helplessness compensation and regularly deal with insured persons, legal representatives, guardians, doctors, insurances, and other authorities. You will draft legally sound and comprehensible benefit decisions and process them until they are ready for appeal. You will assess the individual situation of the insured persons in a holistic manner and examine whether this gives rise to further possibilities for investigation or action. You have a commercial training or a background in the health sector.
