SPORTS ASSISTANT (M/F)

The outpatient service of the Fondation Rossfeld www.rossfeld.ch/ambulanter-dienst which accompanies children and young people attending a regular school in the canton of Berne, is looking for: A SPORTS ASSISTANT (M/F) JOB DESCRIPTION Mission: Assist a young person (13 years old) with a physical disability during their 2 weekly SPORT lessons. Task: Supervise and support the student during sports lessons. Propose another activity or an adapted variant and look after them while the regular teacher conducts the main exercises with the rest of the group. Location: Sports hall of the école secondaire des Platanes in Bienne. Working hours: Lessons take place on Tuesdays from 15h35 to 17h10 during school time. The engagement is for the full school year (10 August 2026 to 2 July 2027 minus holidays). Salary: The salary amounts to 30 francs per hour but it is not hourly, it is monthly. This is why there are 13 salaries per year and sick leave is paid. SEARCHED PROFILE Experience: Experience in the field of sport and pedagogy. Language skills: Ability to communicate in French with the student and the regular teacher. Qualities sought: Ability to adapt, initiative, empathy, inventiveness, humor. REQUIREMENTS Rossfeld also requires a criminal record extract as well as a special extract. The assistant is employed by Rossfeld and is coached by the specialized teacher. During the year, there will be some moments of exchange. At the end of the year, an assessment is carried out and a certificate can be written.
