Customer and Member Support German-speaking Switzerland The SVGW is the national professional organization of the water, gas, and heat utilities of Switzerland and contributes to the safe and sustainable supply of drinking water, gas, and heat through its guidelines, vocational training, the exercise of state-relieving monitoring tasks, consulting services, and the certification of products, companies, and persons. To strengthen the professional exchange within the industry and to ensure that members, partners, and decision-makers remain well-informed, involved, and enthusiastic about the activities of the SVGW, we are looking for a customer-oriented and implementation-strong personality for Customer and Member Support German-speaking Switzerland at our headquarters in Zürich. Your challenge Active maintenance and strategic further development of the network with members, customers, specialist partners, and other associations Building sustainable relationships with relevant actors in the water, gas, and heat industry Representation of the SVGW in regional associations and professional organizations in German-speaking Switzerland (e.g., Brunnenmeistervereinigungen, regional specialist associations, VIGW, and other networks) Positioning the SVGW as a competent partner for technical, regulatory, and organizational issues Conception, organization, and further development of information events for decision-makers in the utility industry (e.g., politicians, management of utility companies) Development of a digital community platform for the utility industry Your competence Training as an engineer (ETH or FH with business administration further training) ideally in the field of supply technology, mechanical engineering, environmental technology, or comparable Several years of experience in marketing and project management Sales professional with an understanding of technical infrastructures (water, gas, buildings) Communication and negotiation skills as well as a strong ability to recognize customer needs and act in a solution-oriented manner Entrepreneurial thinking with a focus on efficiency and customer benefit Your perspectives In this responsible position, you can help shape the future of the SVGW.
