School Social Workers (2 positions) 50% - 75%

(The workload during school time is approx. 65% - 90%) We are expanding the school social work and are therefore looking for two additional School Social Workers as of 01.01.2027 ## About us: Die Kinder- und Jugendfachstelle Region Gantrisch consists of the two areas of school social work and open child and youth work. We are a well-coordinated and constant team that can rely on stable framework conditions through the support of the strategic authorities. The school social work area is currently responsible for the implementation of service areas in the schools Riggisberg, Rüeggisberg, Rümligen, Kaufdorf, Toffen and Thurnen. As of 1 January 2027, the municipalities of Guggisberg, Rüschegg and Schwarzenburg will newly join the Schulsozialarbeit Region Gantrisch. A total of 125 percent positions are available, which will be distributed between two people. The minimum workload is 50% per person. The concrete distribution will take place as part of the application process. Your tasks: As a central contact person at the school locations in Schwarzenburg, Guggisberg and Rüschegg, you are actively involved in the counseling and support of students, parents and teachers. You specifically promote the individual development of the students and play an important role in early detection and prevention at the schools. In close cooperation with various specialist agencies and departments, you contribute to establishing a well-networked support system. Your area of responsibility also includes administrative activities as well as participation in meetings, in which you provide valuable impulses for the further development of the system. Your profile: You have a diploma in Social Work (Social Pedagogy or Social Work) and have experience or further training in the field of child protection as well as in working with children, adolescents and families. Crisis intervention, counseling and prevention are not foreign terms to you - you deal confidently with challenging topics such as violence, bullying and exclusion. Your systemic-solution-oriented competencies, creative counseling approaches as well as the ability for interdisciplinary work make you a real asset to our team. You act with role awareness, take responsibility, work independently and are flexible. A car driver's license as well as your own car round off your profile (expenses will be reimbursed).
