Hoffmann – La Roche Ltd, we are looking for a qualified individual as a Production Expert (m/f/d) in the Solids Finished Goods value stream at the Kaiseraugst location. In this role, you are an integral part of the packaging team and are responsible for operating the production equipment and correctly performing order and batch changes to ensure GMP- and SHE-compliant production. Through organizational and technical improvements, you contribute to the optimization of production processes and the increase of equipment availability. Your tasks include, among others, the independent execution of packaging activities, goods transport and disposal, performance of in-process controls, sampling, as well as the documentation of all GMP-relevant work in systems such as SAP, MES, and OEE. Additionally, you actively participate in the introduction, optimization, and application of Lean Production System (LPS) methods and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. You have completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g., mechanics, pharmacy, or food industry) as well as at least 3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in packaging. You bring routine handling of production-relevant systems (MES, SAP eWM, MS Office), show a high willingness to learn for use in different areas and technologies, teamwork skills, as well as the willingness to take responsibility in a self-organized team. Experience in shift work is a prerequisite; very good German language skills in spoken and written form are expected. The position is to be filled immediately (latest start 01.05.2026) with a workload of 100% for a planned duration of one year at the Kaiseraugst location. An extension of employment is possible. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Independent execution of packaging activities according to current • GMP regulations including identification and settlement of materials, performing in-process controls and sampling, goods transport and disposal • Collaboration in routine production as a Production Expert (equipment operator) • Independent operation of the production equipment and the associated IT systems • Independent documentation of all GMP-relevant work and malfunctions (SAP, MES, OEE) and immediate reporting of identified deviations and faulty conditions • Ensuring the availability of format parts, packaging materials, and consumables at the place of use • Evaluation and processing of alarms and malfunctions including commenting on these in the OEE tool • Clearing and cleaning the production equipment • Disposal of waste • Processing production orders in the corresponding IT systems (settlement of production orders, operation of the line control station) • Active participation in the introduction, optimization, and application of LPS (Lean Production System) methods • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations • Ensuring production according to written specifications in qualitative and quantitative terms Requirements: • Completed vocational training in the field of mechanics, food industry, or pharmacy • Min. 3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP), ideally in the areas of packaging • Routine handling of production-relevant systems (MES, SAP eWM), as well as generally with MS Office or G-Suite • High willingness to learn for use in different areas and technologies (polyvalence) • High teamwork skills and willingness to work in a self-organized team, as well as to take corresponding responsibility • Willingness and flexibility for shift work • Enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment • Structured, responsible, and independent way of working • Good process and technical understanding • Very good German skills (spoken and written) Languages: • Very good German skills (spoken and written) Reference Nr.: 925027TW Role: Production Expert in the Solids Finished Goods value stream Industry: Pharma Location: Kaiseraugst Workload: 100% Start: 21.08.2026 Duration: 12 months ++ Application deadline: 24.06.2026 Should this position have piqued your interest, please send us your complete dossier via the link in this advertisement.
