Driver Traffic and Transport Services

For our customer Lonza AG in Visp, we are looking for a Driver in Traffic and Transport Services (m/f/d) 100% starting immediately Your tasks: • Economic and ecological planning of tours in compliance with the Labor and Rest Time Ordinance (ARV); monitoring of fuel consumption • Execution of special transports (thermal transports) including seamless monitoring of the cold chain as well as safe transport of dangerous goods • Checking of transport documents, execution of departure checks as well as correct distribution and securing of the load. • Safe driving even in difficult road conditions, professional unloading using transport aids at the customer as well as seamless documentation of deviations. • Active participation in regular on-call service (standby service), to guarantee a flexible logistics chain even outside regular working hours. • Execution of maintenance and control work on the vehicle; consistent compliance with all guidelines for occupational safety, health protection and accident prevention. Qualificatons Your profile: • Completed vocational training as a Specialist in Road Transport EFZ or a comparable qualification. • Driver's license category C as well as a current CZV certificate. • Valid SDR/ADR certificate for dangerous goods transport as well as a SUVA-recognized training for industrial trucks (categories R1 and R2). • Sound practice in logistics, ideally in the highly regulated GMP environment (Pharma/Chemistry). • Good user knowledge of the MS-Office suite. • Reliable, responsible, flexibly deployable (on-call) and a team player with a structured way of communicating.
