Production & Supply Planner
Zurich, Switzerland
Immediately Available (role is a 12 month contract initially)
Fluent German Required
Salary: circa CHF100k

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production & Supply Planner to join a leading international manufacturing organisation based near Zurich Airport.

This is an initial 12-month contract opportunity providing operational support across Production and Supply Planning activities within a fast-paced environment. Immediate availability is essential, as the business is looking for someone who can quickly integrate into the team and add value from day one. The role offers a hybrid model with 3-4 days per week on-site.

Key responsibilities as Production & Supply Planner include:
• Support daily Production and Supply Planning activities to ensure smooth operational performance
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and key stakeholders to confirm capacity and material availability
• Monitor inventory, open orders, backlogs, and delivery schedules to ensure continuity of supply
• Prioritise and manage critical operational topics, ensuring timely resolution of issues
• Maintain planning data, reporting, and analysis to support decision making
• Proactively identify risks and provide structured recommendations to minimise operational impact

The ideal candidate profile:
• Experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, or a similar Supply Chain function
• Strong ability to work independently within fast-moving environments and quickly understand new processes
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel capability and ERP exposure (SAP preferred)
• Structured, reliable, and solution-focused approach to problem solving
• Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous
• Fluent German and English language skills are essential
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice
