The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces and sells pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical, food, and cell or DNA research industries. What you can achieve: • Electrical design of complete systems as well as assembly, wiring and commissioning • Drawing of electrical schematics and definition of the necessary components • Feasibility studies and development of automation solutions • Development and design of module tests • Design of sensor technology and actuator technology • Optimization and further development of internal tools • Checking of requirements in cooperation with the project management • Answering support inquiries from the field What you bring with you: • Training as an automation technician, electrical engineering or a related discipline • Further training as a technician HF is an advantage • Experience in the field of robotics, automation and laboratory automation is an advantage • Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g. Machinery Directive) • Creative and communicative personality • Enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams • Good English skills (oral and written) in an international environment • Readiness for business travel (approx. 5-10% per year) Learn more about professional opportunities at Hamilton at jobs.hamilton.ch.
