What you can achieve. • As a Subject Matter Expert in Financial Accounting, you participate in the preparation of financial statements across all divisions of SBB AG and group companies and ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP FER and the Code of Obligations. • In the role of Control Owner, you carry out controls of the internal control system in the closing process within the Shared Service Organisation Finanzen, thereby strengthening the reliability of the financial statements. • You enjoy participating in cross-functional projects and contribute your expertise to efficient and compliant processes. • During the annual audit, you prepare the documentation and conscientiously answer queries from the auditing body. • You create ad-hoc analyses and evaluate key figures so that management and specialist departments can make informed decisions. What you bring with you. • Through clear and appreciative communication, you build trust and take responsibility for your tasks. • Through your several years of experience (at least 4 years) in financial accounting, you possess sound closing knowledge according to Swiss GAAP FER and the Code of Obligations. • SAP knowledge is a prerequisite (S/4Hana is an advantage); furthermore, you have very good user knowledge in M365, especially Excel. • You have successfully completed tertiary-level training (FH or Uni) with a focus on accounting or accounting. • You are business fluent in German (level C1 or more) and you have good knowledge of another national language.
