For 70 years, we have been active in road transport, and the company is today managed by the third generation. With our fleet of vehicles, we carry out freight transport, distribution, construction site work, as well as heavy and special transports. Our vehicle fleet includes tractor units and trailers for the transport of foodstuffs, tipper trucks, mixer trucks and concrete pumps for construction materials, as well as special vehicles for the transport of construction machinery, construction elements and oversized installations. Our versatile company has 25 employees and is managed bilingually. For this full-time planner position, which encompasses the demanding, varied and responsible tasks of transport planning, personnel coordination and customer service, we are looking for a person with the required skills and professional experience. Your tasks Transport planning: • Plan, organize and monitor transports. • Establish efficient route and transport plans. Customer service, sales and marketing: • Advise customers competently and maintain customer relations. • Calculate transport prices and formulate offers. • Analyze customer needs and evaluate the range of services. • Collect performance indicators and perform post-calculation of transport costs. Operational organization: • Structure work processes within the company in an efficient and safe manner. • Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health and environmental directives. • Guarantee internal communication within the company and prepare meetings. • Perform quality controls for transport services. Personnel management: • Establish work schedules for drivers. • Assign tasks, coordinate and lead employees and teams. • Contribute to a pleasant, friendly and professional working climate. Your profile Required experience: • Several years of professional experience as a planner or in a comparable position. • Several years of experience in personnel management and leadership. • Several years of experience in customer service. Required knowledge and skills: • Good knowledge of the road transport sector, particularly in the transport of foodstuffs, consumer goods and construction materials. • Technical understanding of transport processes and the relevant types of trucks. • Good knowledge of legal regulations relating to heavy traffic. • Very good knowledge of German and French, both spoken and written. • Strong leadership skills and communication skills in professional relations with employees. • Service orientation in customer care and entrepreneurial spirit. • Basic knowledge in business management, marketing and accounting. • Solid IT skills in standard applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel as well as transport planning software. • Professionalism, flexibility and stress resistance in personal work organization. • Interest and willingness to develop the business of Aeby Transporte AG in the long term, together with the management.
