Regional Head of Pedagogy and Didactics of Professional Education

Who are we? The Swiss Federal University for Professional Education and Training HEFP is the Swiss expert organisation for professional education. We offer training and further education for professional education managers, carry out research projects on professional education, contribute to the development of professions and support international cooperation in professional education. Our sites are located in Zollikofen near Bern (main headquarters), Lausanne and Lugano, with external sites in Olten and Zurich. Regional Head of Pedagogy and Didactics of Professional Education 80% - 100% Your responsibilities <br /> • You are responsible for the Enabling Training division and actively contribute to the strategic development of training in professional pedagogy in French-speaking Switzerland. • You play a driving role in the professional training of tomorrow, particularly in the specific areas of pedagogy and didactics of professional education management training. • You participate, with the relevant managers and various stakeholders in professional education, in the development of a coherent offer of enabling and continuing training, offered under one roof. • You assume tasks of leading and developing interdisciplinary teams in technical, organisational, financial and personnel matters. • You promote collaboration between the Lausanne, Zollikofen and Lugano sites and strengthen knowledge transfer at the national level. • You represent the enabling education sector in teaching to training institutions, associations, companies and cantonal partner bodies in French-speaking Switzerland. • You link scientific knowledge and practice-oriented professional education and make a significant contribution to the quality and visibility of the HEFP. <br /> Your profile <br /> • Holder of a doctorate (further training in business management is an asset) • Several years of experience in a similar function, ideally in the environment of universities of applied sciences • In-depth knowledge of the Swiss professional education system, with a solid anchor in practice • Proven experience in managing and leading complex organisational units • Excellent relational ease and great ability to develop networks • Inclusive and forward-looking leadership personality with a strong will and ability to initiate and drive change • Excellent command of French as well as very good knowledge of a second national language and English complete your profile <br /> We offer We offer the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of professional education in Switzerland in a diverse and dynamic work environment.
