In this key position, you will help shape the future of the Soziale Einrichtungen und Betriebe of the Stadt Zürich. You will lead strategically important projects to success while operating at the interface of politics, administration, and social practice. Tasks ## • You lead and manage demanding projects of the Soziale Einrichtungen und Betriebe (SEB), and are responsible for their planning, coordination, and implementation. You advise and support the Director as well as the management of the SEB in strategic and operational matters and contribute your expertise to central development projects. You coordinate project-related cooperation and the flow of information within the SEB, the Department, the city administration, and with external partner organizations. You lead interdisciplinary project teams technically, set clear milestones, and ensure professional management of resources, opportunities, risks, and deadlines. You prepare decision-making bases, reports, and concepts for political bodies and represent the interests of the SEB in cross-organizational working groups of the Sozialdepartement. Profile ## • You hold a Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences, supplemented by sound further training in project management (e.g., IPMA, HERMES, or comparable). You bring several years of experience in leading complex projects (political projects are an advantage). You possess strong strategic and conceptual skills. You move confidently in complex stakeholder landscapes and have a keen sense of political and organizational contexts. You are a strong-willed personality with high advisory competence who actively drives change processes in the social institutions and businesses and leads interdisciplinary teams in a goal-oriented manner. You naturally use digital tools for the planning, management, and communication of projects and always maintain an overview of resources and milestones, even in high-pressure phases and demanding areas of tension. You bring a wide variety of methods to develop innovative solutions for various, complex challenges.
