November 2026 or by arrangement for an experienced, motivated, and responsible personality as Specialist Department Head Civil Engineering Works (80 - 90 %) Area of Responsibility As a member of the Bau-Planung (Bauverwaltung) department, as the Specialist Department Head Civil Engineering Works, you will manage the following areas of responsibility: Leadership of the Specialist Department Civil Engineering Works and deputy of the Bauverwalter/in Management and personnel leadership of the Technischen Betriebe (Werkhof/Hauswarte) Ensuring the development of the municipality in terms of infrastructure technology and transport planning matters Management of the general drainage planning (GEP) as well as the general water supply planning (GWP) Ensuring the technical operation, operational safety, as well as the expansion and maintenance of the municipality's own infrastructures (supply and disposal facilities, roads, squares, green spaces, streams, etc.). Technical and legal advice to the municipal authorities Preparation and management of planning assignments in the field of transport Construction management of small and senior construction management of larger infrastructure projects Profile / Requirements You have completed training in civil engineering (Techniker/in TS, Bauführer/in) or an equivalent education with several years of professional experience in a similar function in the construction industry or in public administration. Knowledge of administrative, construction, planning, environmental, and submission law is an advantage.
