Become part of our team at the Schmitten (CH) location from August 2026 or by arrangement as: Deputy Production Shift Leader 3 Shift (100%), m/f/d Your main tasks In the absence of the shift leader, you take over the technical leadership of the shift team – and in doing so, live an appreciative, employee-oriented leadership culture. You ensure the smooth production process – to this end, you set up, operate, and monitor the blown film extrusion systems as well as the conversion systems. You have an eye for quality and schedule management – our adhesive films are produced under your supervision at the required time and in the highest quality. You value traceability – you maintain complete documentation of quality inspections and other required forms. You ensure compliance with all internal guidelines and legal requirements – especially in the areas of plant safety, health protection, occupational safety, quality, and emergency management. Order and cleanliness are part of occupational safety – you lead by example. You train employees on the systems, instruct them, and conduct training sessions. You and your team work closely with relevant interfaces. Your profile You have completed vocational training (EFZ), ideally in the plastics industry / technical vocational training. You already have several years of experience as an employee in production, ideally as a shift leader or deputy. You have already worked in shift and/or night work and are ready for our 3-shift operation (Monday to Friday). You are technically interested and ideally possess PC skills (SAP, Excel). You are considered an independent, flexible, and responsible personality with a structured, exact way of working. You communicate well in German, both written and spoken.
