This position is open to candidates with a background or preference in AI/Analytics or Data Engineering/Data Platform. During the interview process, we will determine the best fit for you within one of these specialized sub-teams. We also welcome applications from interns with limited professional experience, provided they are available for full-time work (without returning to studies). After 4 to 6 months as an intern, we will reassess preparation for a Business Analyst position. For this position, we are currently offering start dates from February 2026. How you can have an impact • Design and implement modern AI and data strategies and solutions - including data management, platforms, and AI use cases - that enable clients to achieve their business objectives in regulatory, cost, and revenue areas. • Provide architectural, technical, and organizational thought leadership to guide complex data and AI transformations with significant organizational implications. • Drive data & AI use cases from business value concept to production. • Build and maintain trust relationships with clients through project delivery and business development, expanding your network internally and externally. • Support business development opportunities to generate new projects. • Be a role model for the people you work with by demonstrating a strong work ethic, leadership, and subject matter expertise. • Continuously develop your knowledge across industries and share your insights with Deloitte's talent. Consulting and communication skills: • Excellent writing and Microsoft PowerPoint skills: ability to design and structure meaningful presentations. • Strong conceptual ability: ability to consolidate diverse requirements into coherent solution designs, simplifying complex problems. • Business-IT translator: ability to link business needs to technical solutions. • Attention to detail and ability to clearly communicate technical specifics in writing and orally. Technical expertise: • Practical experience with AI & analytics solutions is highly recommended. • Familiarity with SQL and Python is a plus. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including working with large language models (LLMs) and associated services, is a plus. • Knowledge of data platform tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku) and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus. • A solid background in engineering or mathematics is advantageous. Language skills: • Mastery of English; mastery of German and/or French is strongly preferred to facilitate communication with diverse teams and stakeholders. Sector experience: • Relevant experience in consulting, technology companies, or industry-specific roles, particularly in AI & data-driven areas. • Previous experience in the banking, insurance, life sciences, or healthcare sectors is an advantage.
