Commit yourself with us to the vision of a solidary society, as Social Worker 60-80 % (w/m/d), Uster and Zürich Oerlikon ## Since March 2024, Caritas Schweiz has been operating, on behalf of the Cantonal Social Services of Zürich, two asylum centers among others with around 90 unaccompanied minor asylum seekers. The socio-pedagogical reference persons are responsible for case management in asylum welfare and in public social assistance. To strengthen the reference person teams, we are looking for a\*n Social Worker\* in a consulting function. Your tasks ### • Contact person for socio-pedagogical reference persons on specific questions regarding support guidelines and the communication of the corresponding basics • Further development of the processes of social work case management in the MNA area • Conception of training, especially regarding social assistance law basics • Coaching and support of employees in various functions in social work case management processes and occasionally in case management questions, including the assumption of operational tasks after consultation with socio-pedagogical reference persons • Ensuring the subsidiarity principle (social insurance, support benefits, etc.) • Active participation in the team as well as participation in inter- and supervision Our requirements ### • Diploma in Social Work, Socio-pedagogy (or comparable training) • Knowledge and experience in the application of the Social Assistance Act and/or Asylum Welfare Ordinance (mandatory requirement) • Further training in case management and/or on integration topics is an advantage • Experience in social counseling and enjoyment of complex issues • Enjoyment of conceptual work with sporadic client contact • Knowledge of integration offers in the Canton of Zürich is an advantage • Very good oral and written German skills as well as good oral skills in another national language and/or English and/or an asylum language • Confident handling of digital tools; experience with Tutoris is an advantage • Intercultural competence, negotiation skills, and team spirit • Structured, resilient, and self-organized way of working Work location: Canton of Zürich (Uster and Zürich-Oerlikon) Start of work: as soon as possible Caritas offers attractive employment conditions and an open working atmosphere at the pulse of social issues.
