Berne (and home office) | 80-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute • Manage demanding projects concerning information and communication technologies (ICT), infrastructure, and data centers • Plan, steer, and monitor projects (including budget, deadlines, resources, and risks) • Coordinate internal teams, external service providers, suppliers, and specialists • Develop decision bases, status reports, concepts, and project documentation • Contribute to the development of standards, processes, governance principles, and operating models, ensure the deputy role for the Head of Basic Infrastructure • Gradually familiarize yourself with the operation, organization, and management of a data center <br /> What makes you unique • Higher education (HES or ES) in electrical engineering, systems technology, ICT, building technology, or a similar discipline associated with several years of experience as a senior project manager, project manager for ICT or IT infrastructure, or in a comparable role • Good understanding of technical interactions in the ICT and infrastructure environment, strong skills for project planning, risk and stakeholder management as well as reporting • Experience with classic or agile project management methods • Knowledge in business administration, ability to manage budget, costs, and priorities with confidence • Implementation skills, reliability, and high sense of responsibility • Interest in long-term evolution towards responsibilities related to operations and management <br /> In a few words Targeting the development of its ICT and data center-related infrastructure, the Cyber Command is looking for an experienced person capable of thinking entrepreneurially. As part of this function, you will be responsible for demanding projects concerning ICT, infrastructure, and data centers. In parallel, we will systematically prepare you over several years so that you can eventually lead the operation of one of our new data centers. From your start date, you will closely follow the construction project and gradually familiarize yourself with your future role. This position requires a person who already manages complex projects masterfully and who wants more responsibilities in the medium term in the areas of operation, management, and strategic development of a data center.
