GIS / Web GIS Specialist # Your job ## • Operation and further development of our WebGIS platform including development of new specialist applications • Working on railway- and company-specific development projects for GIS and WebGIS solutions • Onboarding and integration of new projects and data • Design and construction of data models • Conception and planning of data-based processes and workflows • Support in ensuring code quality, structure and automation Your profile ## • University degree in Geomatics, Geoinformatics, Geography or comparable Good and sound GIS knowledge with experience in handling WebGIS technologies and geodata • Experienced in web development (JavaScript, Python) and confident handling of PostgreSQL/PostGIS and data modeling • Knowledge in geoprocessing and geoprocessing tools (FME, Python) • Familiar with Docker, Git and DevOps methods such as CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Azure Cloud Services is an advantage • Enthusiasm for OpenSource technologies • Structured, solution-oriented way of working as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation and new technologies We offer ## • Working in a highly innovative environment with the latest technologies • High proportion of development work with many opportunities to help shape things • Creative work in interdisciplinary teams on the technological topics of tomorrow • Working with high practical relevance and insight into the world of railway construction technology • Independent and autonomous work with interesting development opportunities and modern employment conditions Our employees are strong people who are aware of their responsibility and never lose the fun in what they do.
