Job Description The perfect apprenticeship for technology-enthusiastic young adults with joy in component manufacturing at the highest level! In this exciting training, you will perform the following activities: Processing different materials with state-of-the-art machines and technologies Individual component manufacturing or prototype construction by hand with turning, milling, drilling, and grinding machines Programming design drawings using computer-controlled machines The training lasts 4 years, of which 2 years are basic training in our own learning workshop on the ETH Hönggerberg campus. During the apprenticeship, you will change your place of assignment according to the rotation principle and thus get to know ETH from different perspectives. Profile Technical contexts and mechanics fascinate you. You have good spatial awareness, logical thinking, and are manually gifted. In addition, you enjoy working precisely, carefully, and with concentration, and can work with patience and perseverance on a technical solution.
