For the TORMAX division, we are looking for an experienced and analytically thinking personality in Research and Development as Engineer Functional Safety (m/f) As part of an interdisciplinary team, you are responsible within the framework of product development for the certification of automatic door systems as well as for the functional safety of hardware and firmware. Your tasks Providing the documentation with the support of development for the certification of hardware and software at external certification bodies Analysis and documentation of system interdependencies taking functional safety into account Moderation of risk analyses (e.g. using FMEA) with employees from R&D Supporting firmware, electronics, and mechanics development during certification Your qualifications University degree (ETH/TU/FH) with specialization in electronics or software engineering Experience in the certification of hardware and software, experience in EN ISO 13849 and EN 61508 is an advantage Experience in dealing with external certification bodies Experience in the development of firmware and/or electronics taking functional safety into account is an advantage Conceptual and analytical thinking at the system level Willingness to familiarize yourself with the tasks Understanding of technical and normative contexts Independent, reliable, structured, and goal-oriented way of working Good German and English skills in speaking and writing Our offer An interesting and challenging activity in an innovative traditional company in which technology, quality, and customer orientation are the focus Modern employment conditions and good social benefits Good public transport connections, free parking Own employee restaurant Do we want to make a difference together?
