Working Group Supervisor Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung Justizvollzugsanstalt Pöschwies Working Group Supervisor 80 - 100% With around 1'400 employees, Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung (JuWe) is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as for the implementation of various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of convicted people and are actively and progressively committed to a safe and just society. The Justizvollzugsanstalt Pöschwies (JVA) is one of eight main departments of JuWe. With around 400 detention places, it is the largest closed correctional facility in Switzerland for convicted men. It fulfills a central state task and, according to its legal mandate, contributes to the protection of the general public while simultaneously creating the prerequisites for the resocialization of the incarcerated persons. Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for a resilient personality with pronounced social competence. Together with an experienced team, you will accompany, supervise, and promote incarcerated persons at the employment and workstations in the correctional industry. Your Tasks You ensure a safe, structured, and smooth operation in the workshop Technical guidance, accompaniment, and promotion of a group of incarcerated persons in everyday work Planning and coordination of employment assignments, taking into account individual abilities and resources Close cooperation with the residential groups and other internal specialist departments Creation of reports and assessments regarding the development and behavior of the incarcerated persons Writing reports and assessments regarding the development and behavior of the incarcerated persons Participation in the design of a meaningful and resource-oriented everyday working life Commitment as an active member of the operational fire brigade Your Profile Basic vocational training in a craft (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification Further training as a specialist in corrections or willingness to complete it; additional training in work agogics is an advantage Experience in a craft environment and enjoyment in accompanying, guiding, and promoting people in their development High social competence as well as the ability to professionally manage closeness and distance Resilient, team-oriented, and flexible personality with an appreciative basic attitude Confident use of common MS-Office applications as well as proficient German language skills; further language skills are an advantage Minimum age of 25 years as well as an impeccable record (criminal and debt enforcement register without entries) Our Offer Meaningful and varied activity in an extraordinary and exciting work environment Comprehensive internal and external training and further education opportunities Regulated working hours in uniformed service operation Catering options directly on-site in the JVA restaurant Attractive employment conditions according to the cantonal guidelines Your Application Are you looking for a new challenge?
