Assistant Psychologist 60 - 80 % General Day Clinic Your tasks • In the day clinic setting, you will undertake the psychotherapeutic treatment of patients with the full spectrum of psychiatric clinical pictures in individual and group therapies. • After sound induction, you will take over the case-leading, individual psychotherapeutic work in close consultation with the team. • As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will care for your patients holistically and actively participate in their recovery process. • You will contribute your own therapeutic focuses and ideas to the development of innovative group offers. • Interprofessionally, you will work closely with psychiatry, nursing, social services, and specialized therapies. • You will dedicate yourself with a focus on high-quality group psychotherapy, including interactionally open therapy groups, psychoeducation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), social skills training (SKT), and analytic-mentalization-based groups. • External supervision, internal case discussions, and individual professional development by an experienced psychotherapeutic and psychiatric management will accompany you regularly. • For every ten percent of employment, you will take over the individual therapeutic case management for one patient, which keeps your case portfolio manageable. Your profile • You have successfully completed your psychology studies and have already gained experience in adult day clinic psychiatry. • You have already started or are advanced in your federally recognized psychotherapy continuing education. • You possess an assistant permit for psychotherapy from the Canton of St. Gallen (to work under supervision), or you meet the requirements to obtain this before starting the position. • Interprofessional cooperation as well as patient- and relative-oriented day clinic treatment are particularly important to you. • Individual and especially group therapies bring you joy, and you approach them with commitment. • Self-initiative, sense of responsibility, will to shape, communication strength, and teamwork skills characterize you. • For this position, German language skills at C1 level are required to communicate professionally with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
