Your main responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain the programming of our welding robots used on our machines. • Create, analyze, and improve trajectories and sequences defined by internally developed algorithms. • Work in close collaboration with the welding, automation, and software engineering teams. • Participate in the validation and testing of systems to ensure compliance with functional requirements. • Write and maintain technical documentation. • Write the functional analyses of the programs to be developed. • Ensure support and maintenance of deployed systems. • Intercontinental travel to be expected (to be discussed). Your profile: • Training in robotics engineering or deemed equivalent. • Min 10 years of experience in industrial robot programming. • Senior profile sought. • Significant experience in the industrial integration of 6-axis robots with additional axis management. • Experience in real-time trajectory tracking will be an asset. • Mastery of the RAPID programming language for ABB robots. • Experience with ABB's RobotStudio offline simulation software. • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, etc.) • Dynamic, pragmatic, and autonomous personality, endowed with good interpersonal skills and a strong technical culture. • Mastery of English, both spoken and written, is necessary (internal training possible).
