As a project manager of the Competence Center Hazard Basics, you have the opportunity to further develop this field in close cooperation with various partners. Your tasks In this exciting and challenging position, you can expect the following tasks: • You help in a small team to develop guidelines and work aids in the field of natural hazards (water processes). • You accompany hazard map revisions throughout the canton in all upper engineering circles. • You advise and support the upper engineering circles in the field of natural hazards (water processes). <br /> Your profile <br /> • Environmental engineer, geographer, civil engineer • Several years of practical experience in assessing the hazard process water (flooding, overflowing, mudflow and bank erosion, surface runoff) • Strategic skills to further develop the complex fields in a future-oriented manner • Experience with environmental topics, in particular water construction, natural hazards and spatial planning • Independent, responsible way of working, communicative skill in dealing with authorities, resilience and flexibility • Very good oral and written expression skills in German, knowledge of French is an advantage • Driver's license category B <br /> We offer you You can rightly assume that the canton of Bern is a fair employer in every respect with very good employment conditions.
