Specialist Financial and Payroll Accounting

On behalf of our client, an internationally active service provider for public transport based in Muttenz, we are looking for a permanent position in Try & Hire (i.e., with the option of a permanent position) as of immediately or by arrangement for a FINANCIAL and PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT 70 - 100 % Your tasks: • independent management of financial accounting in Abacus incl. general ledger, fixed asset accounting and accruals • accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting, payment transactions • reconciliation of VAT accounts and preparation of the VAT return • collaboration in monthly and annual closings, account reconciliation and support of the audit • independent execution of the monthly payroll run • processing and reconciliation of social insurances, in particular AHV, BVG, UVG/SUVA and KTG • withholding tax statements, year-end processing with wage statements, AHV wage total reporting etc. • processing and provision of the basis for the monthly reporting to the CFO • execution of intercompany reconciliations with sister companies Your profile: • several years of accounting experience in a similar position, ideally supplemented by further training in finance and accounting incl. knowledge of payroll accounting • practical experience with Swiss social insurances, withholding tax and VAT • knowledge of Abacus is an advantage • enjoyment of digitalization, process optimization and cross-departmental cooperation • independent, proactive way of working as well as a team player Interested?
