Real Estate Accountant

Our client is a traditional, yet extremely dynamic family business in the Basel area (in close proximity to the St. Jakob-Stadion). Your tasks • Financial & accounting: You will independently manage the accounting of rental properties and condominium owners' associations (STWEG) and be responsible for the associated audits, approximately in a 60/40 ratio. • Invoicing & financial statements: Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements as well as precise heating and ancillary cost invoices are part of your core responsibilities. • Operational cash management: You will be in charge of accounts receivable and payable, monitor account liquidity, manage dunning and collection procedures, and perform bank reconciliations. • Personnel administration & customer contact: You will prepare payroll and AHV statements for our janitors and be the competent, service-oriented contact person for our demanding tenants and owners. Qualifications Your profile • Solid foundation: You have a completed commercial basic training and specialized further education in real estate accounting. • STWEG expertise (must-have): You have several years of professional experience in real estate accounting and in-depth knowledge of condominium ownership, which is a mandatory requirement for this position. • Working style & mindset: You work independently, think solution-oriented, and keep a clear overview even in hectic times. Your reliability and ability to set priorities correctly are your strengths. • Communication & IT: Your mother tongue is German, and you convince as a communicative team player. If you already have experience with the industry software "W&W", that's a strong plus.
