IMI Climate Control As one of the business areas of IMI, Climate Control is a global provider of distribution systems and room temperature management. We work closely with our customers to optimize energy efficiency and improve the performance of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) to ensure comfort and reliability in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Betriebsmechaniker (m/w/d) - Befristet für 18 Monate Your main tasks Professional, independent, and efficient execution of maintenance, repair, and maintenance work on production plants, machines, and technical facilities Analysis and elimination of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults during ongoing operation Carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance work to ensure high plant availability Participation in the creation, maintenance, and further development of maintenance plans Systematic fault diagnosis, documentation of faults, repairs, and technical measures Active participation in technical improvements, plant optimizations, and internal projects Contributing ideas for improving availability, safety, quality, and efficiency of plants Support in conversions, adaptations, and optimizations of machines and operating resources Collaboration with production, quality, and external service providers Ensuring order, occupational safety, and environmentally friendly work in your own area of responsibility Willingness to participate in standby duty Our requirements Completed technical vocational training, e.g., as a production mechanic, maintenance mechanic, or similar training Good knowledge and practical experience in the field of hydraulics Knowledge in the field of pneumatics and mechanical maintenance of production plants Experience in fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of machines and technical facilities Advanced knowledge in reading technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documents First experience in technical improvements, conversions, or smaller projects is an advantage Basic understanding of structured maintenance processes, spare parts management, and preventive maintenance Good MS Office basic knowledge; experience with ticket or maintenance systems is an advantage German language skills in word and writing; English language skills are an advantage Your competencies Good communication skills, positive influence, networked thinking, and cross-border collaboration Practical, solution-oriented personality with a pronounced hands-on mindset Interest in questioning existing working methods and actively further developing them Independent, reliable, and structured way of working Team-oriented, communicative, and open in dealing with colleagues, colleagues, and external partners Willingness to take responsibility and further develop professionally What we offer you You can expect an exciting, varied, and responsible task Modern employment conditions Comprehensive training in the varied range of tasks Collegial, dynamic team with open communication culture Occupational safety & health protection The physical requirements described in the "Main Tasks" section are necessary to perform the essential tasks of this position.
