The non-profit, internationally active association «Kinderhilfe Bethlehem» is based in the heart of Luzern. As a central project, it operates the Kinderspital Bethlehem (Caritas Baby Hospital), which is the only hospital specialized in pediatrics in the West Bank. In addition, the association supports selected projects to strengthen children, young people, and women in the region. To complement the established team, we are commissioned to find a winning and reliable personality as Fundraiser:in Institutionelles Fundraising & Major Donor to find. In this position, you are responsible for acquiring and sustainably maintaining institutional sponsors such as foundations, companies, and public institutions as well as major donors. You identify potential donors, develop targeted approaches and relationship strategies, formulate convincing funding requests, and take over personal contact maintenance throughout the entire funding cycle. You care for and maintain existing relationships with foundations and institutions as well as private individuals with great joy and trust. Together with the team, you contribute to the further development of the fundraising strategy and develop new concepts and ideas. You have a university degree (FH/Uni) and a successful track record in fundraising, ideally in the environment of an NPO or foundation. High self-initiative, independent working style, and pronounced communication and networking skills characterize you. You have the pronounced ability to build and maintain relationships. Discretion and integrity are a matter of course for you, as is a high identification with the organization's mission and values. Additionally, you appreciate teamwork, think entrepreneurially, work in a goal-oriented manner, and formulate confidently in German, English, and Romansh (Italian is an advantage). A secure handling of M365 and CRM systems rounds out your profile.
