As of 1 September or by arrangement, we are looking for a Correction Officer Correctional Institution 100% Exciting tasks await: • General supervision, care, and control activities in the security service of the correctional institution • Supervision and care of working incarcerated persons in the nursery commercial operation • Readiness to perform irregular work assignments (incl. 2 - 3 night shifts and 1 weekend assignment per month) What you bring: • Completed basic training with a federal certificate of proficiency (ideally Gärtner EFZ, Gemüsegärtner EFZ, Landwirt EFZ, Forstwart EFZ) or practical experience in the gardening sector • Additional qualification as a specialist in corrections with a federal professional diploma or the readiness to complete the training • Reliable, independent way of working, ability to work in a team, high social competence and emotional stability • Understanding and tolerance in dealing with people of different origins, oral knowledge of a foreign language is an advantage • Minimum age: 28 years, impeccable character (current criminal and debt enforcement register extract) Your working environment In the Justizvollzugsanstalt Lenzburg (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dvi/strafverfolgung-strafvollzug/jva-lenzburg), persons who have been sentenced to a prison sentence or to a custodial measure are cared for. The offering includes 380 correctional places for closed execution, pre-trial detention and short-term sentences.
