Bern, Schweiz \| 80-100% This is the contribution you can make <br /> • Collaborate on the creation of the comprehensive security policy threat assessment. • Edit and coordinate public intelligence reporting and NDB contributions to security policy reports, foreign policy strategies and sub-strategies of the Federal Council and similar strategic documents in conjunction. • Responsible for the planning and quality assurance of cross-thematic top products of the NDB on behalf of partners and customers. • Assemble and lead topic-specific working and project groups. • Maintain, apply and further develop intelligence quality standards and criteria. <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • At least a Master's degree or comparable research and scientific experience, preferably in political science, history or another discipline of the humanities and social sciences with knowledge in business or legal sciences, with at least five years of professional experience in security policy-oriented organizations. • Very good knowledge of the federal administration and its political processes and procedures. • Knowledge of the legal basis, security policy and its challenges in Switzerland, as well as a profound understanding of intelligence work and challenges at the strategic, operational and tactical levels. • High assertiveness even under uncertainty, paired with outstanding teamwork skills, proven experience in project management and experience in conflict management: identifying, moderating and resolving conflicts. • Swiss citizen with an irreproachable reputation. • Active knowledge of two official languages and passive knowledge of the third official language, very good English skills. <br /> In a nutshell You categorize what is truly important and distinguish relevance from noise: With your excellent security policy knowledge and your sophisticated editorial skills, you are a guarantor for the representation of the comprehensive threat situation. The NDB deals with the early detection and combating of terrorism, violent extremism, espionage, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery technology as well as cyberattacks on critical infrastructures. In addition, the NDB procures security policy relevant information and evaluates it. In this way, it provides decisive contributions for the comprehensive assessment of the threat situation. At the federal level, the NDB primarily serves the Federal Council, the departments and the military leadership with its products. It also supports the cantons in maintaining internal security and the law enforcement agencies at the federal level.
