Our internally developed platform, PETRA, forms the heart of our digital processes and is continuously optimized. For this, we are looking for a person with strong analytical skills, who understands business requirements, translates them into technical solutions, and shapes the future of our platform in collaboration with specialized departments and IT. Your mission As a business engineer (80-100%), you are the central interface between business and IT. You analyze requirements, develop practical solutions, and accompany their implementation - from the idea to successful introduction. You will work notably with our internal platform PETRA and contribute to making processes in the mortgage field more efficient, digital, and customer-oriented. Your responsibilities • Analysis and collection of business requirements as well as their translation into technical specifications • Development of solution concepts and optimization of existing business processes • Creation and prioritization of functionalities, user stories, and prototypes • Planning and conducting workshops with internal and external stakeholders • Close collaboration with IT, specialized departments, and external partners • Development of test concepts as well as support for functional and system tests • Support for the operation of the PETRA platform as well as analysis of incidents and bugs • Participation in the design of new reporting requirements and continuous improvement of our systems What you bring • Degree or continuing education in business information technology, computer science, or business administration (FH, HF or university) • At least three years of experience as a business engineer, business analyst, or in a similar role • Experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services field is a great advantage • Analytical ability and the aptitude to clearly present complex contexts • Joy in connecting business and IT • Very good knowledge of German and English • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and the MS Office suite • Experience with SQL, XML, or data migrations is a plus Your personality You work in a structured manner, assume responsibility, and drive things to completion in a pragmatic way. You think entrepreneurially, approach challenges with a practical mentality, and convince through your communication skills.
