The association Institut Menzingen manages the operational business of the Swiss province of the Sisters of the Holy Cross Menzingen on their behalf. This includes, among other things, the management of their own nursing home St. Franziskus with various health services, as well as the maintenance and care of real estate and facilities. The community of Sisters of the Holy Cross was founded in 1844 in Menzingen and is today represented on several continents of the world. The Swiss province currently includes around 135 sisters, most of whom live in Menzingen.
