POSITION: ENGINEERING DESIGN TECHNICIAN

POSITION: ENGINEERING DESIGN TECHNICIAN As part of our industrial transformation project and the construction of our new manufacture in Bernex, we are looking for a rigorous and autonomous professional, endowed with a solid technical sense, capable of designing technical solutions while remaining close to the field and production equipment. This position, at the heart of a major industrial project, requires a pragmatic, organized person capable of proposing robust technical solutions in a rapidly evolving environment. POSITION: ENGINEERING DESIGN TECHNICIAN YOUR PROFILE: Higher technical education: ES Technician, HES Bachelor in mechanics, industrial engineering or equivalent field; Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, with a strong field presence and concrete practice with production equipment; Good knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanics applied to the modification, adaptation, and improvement of machines; Ability to write technical specifications and to structure rigorous documentation; Ability to design and model technical solutions autonomously under CREO (mechanics, equipment adaptation); Ease in technical exchanges with suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners; Good level of English (an asset). THE POSITION AND YOUR FUTURE MISSIONS: Technical studies & feasibility; Carry out studies for the modification, adaptation, and improvement of existing industrial equipment; Analyze the technical feasibility of adaptations, particularly for machines related to building infrastructure or interfaces that cannot be replicated identically; Design & documentation; Design, model, and dimension technical solutions, then develop and structure the associated documentation (plans, files, bills of materials); Write specifications related to machine modifications, supplier consultations, and investment needs; Supplier management & project monitoring; Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to define, challenge, and monitor technical solutions; Accompany projects from the study phase to field implementation (tests, installation, validation). Cross-functional coordination; Collaborate closely with the Production, Methods & Industrialization, Maintenance, Purchasing, and General Services teams.
