Registered Nurse HF (40-100%) The Justizvollzugsanstalt Bostadel is an independent public-law institution in the Concordat of Northwest and Central Switzerland with its own legal personality. It is operated by the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Zug and has 108 places in normal detention and 12 places in a security department. Around 90 employees work at the JVA Bostadel, who ensure security within the institution as well as contribute to keeping the 120 prisoners meaningfully occupied and resocializing them. A split between two employees is possible (minimum workload 40%). This is your job - the tasks Medical care of the prisoners Daily medication administration incl. assessment of general condition Assistance in medical consultations (family doctor, psychiatry and dentistry) Organization and administration of the health service Management of the facility pharmacy Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external specialists First aid in medical and psychiatric emergencies Participation in the further development of quality management What you bring - the requirements Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF, DNII, PsyKP, AKP Healthy boundaries and good ability to assert oneself Ability to make decisions and take action in the specialist field Impeccable character certificate Several years of professional experience as well as a mature and resilient personality.
