Trainee in Custodial Care (a) # 100% | Kriens | The internship lasts at least 6 months ## Custodial care sounds like walls - but it's about people - shaping perspectives in custodial care Are you interested in working with people in challenging life situations and want to gain practical experience in a demanding, structured environment? In this internship, you will support the specialist staff in the care of inmates and promote their development in everyday life as well as their resocialization. Your tasks • You support the specialist staff in the care, accompaniment, and supervision of inmates in everyday prison life, taking into account security guidelines and always working in a team. • You independently perform tasks from the care area as well as administrative tasks after consultation, with a sense of responsibility. • In contact with inmates, also with psychiatric illnesses, you show tact and respond situationally to different needs. • You lend a hand in everyday life - from food distribution to the organization and settlement of the internal "kiosk" for inmates. • In team meetings and case discussions, you actively participate and bring your observations and ideas to the point. Your profile • You have completed a 3- or 4-year vocational training (EFZ, Berufsmaturität or gymnasial Matura) and have initial experiences. • Stress resistance, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach characterize you; you consistently implement practical solutions. • You bring initiative, creativity, and joy in working with people in challenging life situations. • Experience in dealing with people from different cultures and backgrounds is an advantage and strengthens your profile. • You apply MS Office safely.
