Project Manager Road Construction Project Manager Road Construction 80 - 100% Your new role As a project manager for road construction, you will take on a responsible task in the further development of public spaces and the design of an attractive living space in the city. You will plan, develop and lead versatile road construction projects, from the renovation of existing road facilities to the implementation of encounter zones and other measures to enhance the urban space. You will accompany your projects from the first idea to the realization, coordinating the cooperation with internal and external specialist departments, works, planning offices and other project participants. In the development of the projects, you will lead and support a small team of draftsmen and draftswomen in a technical capacity. You will create reports and applications for political decision-making processes and represent your projects to various stakeholders. Another important part is communication with the population. You will organize and accompany public participation and contribute to a transparent and constructive project development. This position is for you if You have completed a technical vocational training as a civil engineer ETH/FH/HTL or have a comparable qualification and experience in project management of construction projects. You enjoy designing sustainable and high-quality public spaces. You are a committed and solution-oriented person with high communication skills and social competence. You have fun with value-based team work as well as exchange with expert groups, authorities and the population. You are secure in the use of common digital work tools. Your department The Road Construction department of the City's Tiefbauamt is responsible for intact roads, paths, squares and bridges as well as functioning traffic relationships and traffic lights.
