Security Engineer (m/f/d) - Energy Control System

This is what you can achieve. • As a Security Engineer (m/f/d), you have an overview of the central energy control systems of the SBB. You know the connections between the various system components, interfaces, and peripheral systems. • You work interdisciplinarily with IT Security, the Security Operation Center, plant managers, project managers, and suppliers of control technology. • The analysis and evaluation of security incidents as well as vulnerabilities and the support of their processing and remediation are part of your responsibilities. • You work in a wide spectrum of OT topics, from computer science to electrical engineering, telecommunications, and energy. • You use your sound knowledge to analyze events and can initiate new solutions. • Together with your team, you develop specifications and standards, e.g., for release and patch management. To ensure the availability of the central infrastructure of the Switzerland-wide railway power supply, you are part of a location-independent on-call service in a 7x24h Second-Level Support organization (remote on-call service approx. 6 weeks per year). • You have practical experience in dealing with network technology and security tools in the OT world and possess sound knowledge regarding threats, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and relevant protocols such as IEC61850. • For this position, we require a completed education at FH / HF level in a technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science, telecommunications, energy) or a comparable technical training. • Business fluent German skills (C1) are required. Good knowledge (B2) in French, Italian, or English is an advantage.
