Media Librarian* Kantonsschule Oberland Media Librarian* 50% The Kantonsschule Oberland (KZO) in Wetzikon is a vibrant school that values an open culture, shared commitment, and an inspiring learning environment. It runs a lower secondary gymnasium (9./10. school year) in currently 60 classes and all Zurich maturity profiles. With around 1300 students, 200 teachers, and 40 staff members in administration and operations, the KZO is one of the large gymnasiums in the canton. The media library of the KZO is a central place for learning, research, and meeting. With its diverse range of offers, it is popular and well-visited by students, teachers, and staff. To complement our team, we are looking for a Media Librarian* 50% as of 2026 or by arrangement. Your tasks Responsibility for the entire service desk area: lending, returns, reservations of physical and e-media Information and consultation (from books to research) Periodicals management Further tasks upon agreement and capacities (e.g., youth literature or other) Your profile Completed training in the library field Professional experience in a library or media library Enjoyment of working with adolescents and adults in a lively environment Strong service and consulting competence Proficient use of Microsoft-365 applications Knowledge of the library program Winmedio Our offer Versatile activity in a modern media library Collaboration in a committed, appreciative team Careful induction into the area of responsibility Terms of employment and continuing education offers according to cantonal guidelines Have we aroused your interest?
