What you bring: A completed training in finance and accounting, auditing or business administration, such as a federal certificate, a study at a university of applied sciences or a comparable qualification. Several years of solid experience in financial accounting and financial statements. Leadership experience and pleasure in leading a small, experienced team clearly, appreciatively and bindingly. Very good knowledge of main and secondary books, account reconciliations, payment transactions, creditors, debtors and intercompany reconciliations. Experience with quarterly and annual financial statements, VAT settlements, tax issues and external audits. A pronounced quality and process awareness as well as a good understanding of internal controls and traceable processes. Very good knowledge of Excel and experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Abacus, Power Query or Power BI is an advantage. Interest in digitization, automation and practical AI applications in accounting. A structured, reliable and implementation-strong way of working. What to expect: You will take over the technical and personal leadership of our three-person accounting team from the beginning. You will ensure clear responsibilities, a balanced distribution of tasks, reliable representations and an open cooperation. You will remain consciously close to the day-to-day business: you will work actively in financial accounting and support in particular main and secondary books, account reconciliations, payment transactions, creditors and debtors as well as intercompany reconciliations. Together with your team, you will ensure that bookings are processed completely, correctly and on time. You will be responsible for VAT settlements as well as operational tax and regulatory issues. You will also coordinate and accompany the quarterly and annual financial statements, the consolidation of the group companies and the preparation of external audits. A particular focus of your task lies on the quality and organization of the accounting. You will gain a solid overview of tasks, work volume, interfaces and existing processes. Based on this, you will develop clear standards, documented processes and practical improvements together with the team.
