Social Worker Social Assistance (80%)

The Regional Social Service Oberwynental with its approximately 35 employees is responsible for the municipalities of Menziken, Reinach and Birrwil. The service is divided into the two departments of Child and Adult Protection and Social Assistance. To strengthen our team, we are looking for, starting 1 November or by arrangement, a professionally competent personality as Social Worker for the Social Assistance department (80%) ## The area of responsibility includes: • Provision of economic assistance according to SPG/SPV and SKOS guidelines • Counseling and case management within the framework of statutory assistance • Needs assessments considering the principles of subsidiarity • Cooperation with internal and external specialist agencies, with authorities, municipalities as well as other services • Case documentation and drafting of applications for the municipality Your profile: • A tertiary degree (FH/HF) in the social sector or an equivalent qualification • Professional experience in the field of social assistance (advantageous) or in the social insurance system • Knowledge of social insurance law (advantageous) • A flair for structure and administration as well as IT skills • Empathy for people in difficult life situations • Psychological resilience, humor and ability to work in a team • High social and self-competence • Good communication skills What awaits you: • An interesting, responsible, varied and independent activity with scope for action in a dedicated and cheerful team • Case support in the areas of administration and accounting • Case management software KLIBnet • Intervision, supervision and further training opportunities. • Attractive place of work with good infrastructure • Contemporary remuneration A qualified team looks forward to a dedicated, integral and balanced personality who also maintains an overview and humor in hectic situations.
