Your new tasks • Evaluation and release of COTS hardware: You are our expert when it comes to evaluating, testing, and releasing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware for our OT infrastructures. Your decisions secure the basis of our systems! • Concept, further development, and operation of OT infrastructures (laboratory): This includes, in particular, server systems, virtualization environments, and Industrial IoT components, which you optimize with your hardware knowledge. • Installation and patch management of operating systems: You take care of the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems such as Windows and Linux on our OT hardware to ensure smooth functionality. • Planning and implementation of OT architectures, taking into account security, availability, and compliance requirements • Close collaboration with engineering and IT teams to integrate systems and applications • Analysis of existing OT environments and identification of optimization potential • Implementation and further development of cybersecurity measures in the OT environment (e.g., network segmentation, zero-trust approaches) • Control of external partners and suppliers as well as participation in projects across the entire lifecycle • Creation of technical documentation and support in incident and problem management Your profile • Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation technology, or completed vocational training in the relevant environment, combined with solid professional experience • In-depth experience in the OT, industrial IT, automation, or production infrastructure environment • In-depth knowledge of hardware evaluation and integration as well as operating systems such as Windows and Linux. • Experience in implementing cybersecurity concepts in the OT environment is an advantage • Analytical and structured way of working, combined with a high quality standard • Communicative personality with the ability to convey complex facts in a target-group-oriented manner • Very good German and good English skills You benefit from • an open and flexible working culture at one of the leading companies in the mobility sector in Switzerland • a 40-hour week with a 100% workload • at least 5 weeks of vacation • a workplace at the pulse of rail technology • diverse employee benefits and further training opportunities • a hybrid work model: balanced work-life balance and more autonomy Our team and location Do you want to know more about our culture, values, diversity, and other important topics?
