Position at 100% - Class 13 Your mission Enforce all federal, cantonal, and communal laws and regulations within the limits of your prerogatives. Ensure public tranquility, safety, road safety, and sanitation. Monitor and report infractions according to the directives of the Procureur Général. Ensure the smooth running of demonstrations and events on public roads in terms of parking, traffic, and safety. Depending on the service organization, provide presence "on call" shifts. Direct and supervise a team composed of municipal police officers and school patrol officers. Develop measures aimed at improving soft mobility. Ensure the control of the public domain. Ensure the application of communal regulations and instructions from the authorities. Ensure compliance with parking on public roads. Organize operations related to traffic, identify problems, and carry out preventive, deterrent, and/or repressive actions. Your profile: You hold an APM certificate or a police certificate or training deemed equivalent; You have worked in one or more areas of law enforcement on Swiss territory for a minimum of 5 years; You can justify several years of professional experience as a constable or corporal with a level of responsibility similar to the proposed position; You have excellent writing skills and proficiency in common IT tools; You have a good knowledge of Genevan political institutions; You have a strategic and analytical mind, a good sense of organization, and a good capacity for anticipation; You possess excellent interpersonal skills, know how to show empathy and diplomacy; You show moderation and the ability to maintain perspective.
