School Social Worker

The municipality of Schafisheim near Lenzburg is nestled between two prominent hills, very well connected in terms of transport, and is the gateway to Seetal. The municipality's employees provide comprehensive, high-quality services for the population. Schafisheim Primary School consists of 4 kindergarten departments as well as 11 departments from the 1st to the 6th grade of primary level. Approximately 40 teachers, a caretaker team, a school administration, and the school management support the school's core business with diverse services. Kreisschule Lotten comprises 13 classes of secondary and lower secondary school, which are taught at the three locations of Rupperswil, Hunzenschwil, and Schafisheim. Around 50 class and subject teachers as well as assistants or special education teachers work closely with the SSA in well-organized teams. A workplace is available at each location. We are looking for as of 1 August 2026 a School Social Worker for Schafisheim Primary School (50 %) and Kreisschule Lotten (20 %) ## in combination or for two individual persons ### Your challenges ### • Low-threshold counseling work for students, parents, and teachers • Implementation of projects in prevention work (early detection - prevention - intervention) • Crisis intervention in classes and individual case counseling • Cooperation and interface function with school, authorities, social services, institutions, and specialist centers • Participation in the creation of an integrative, positive, and non-violent school culture Our offer ### • Responsible activity in a diverse field of work • Employment conditions according to municipal regulations with annual working hours • Independent field of action and room for initiative • Exchange formats for intervision (case processing) and regional SSA meetings • Motivated management and teaching teams as well as service-oriented school administrations Your profile ### • Completed training in social work or social pedagogy (HFS, FH) as well as CAS "Social Work in Schools" or the readiness to complete this further education • Joy and experience in dealing with children, adolescents, and parents • Experience in counseling work in various fields of work is an advantage • High social competence, flexibility, commitment, and resilience • Systemic-solution-oriented and person-centered way of working • High level of personal responsibility, teamwork skills, as well as good organizational skills • Networked thinking and acting • Readiness to be present in school buildings at different locations in Schafisheim, Hunzenschwil, and Rupperswil Versatile, exciting tasks in a lively working environment with your own creative freedom and appealing further training opportunities await you.
